The Duchess’ Luminescent Hair — Get Her Shiny, Healthy Hair
Kate’s hair is blown out straight. No matter how the Duchess wears her hair, it is always flawlessly done. So we wondered, how does she do it? HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVE tips and tricks from professional hair stylist Rey Rose from Louis Licari Salon:
For extra shiny luminescence, hair should not be over layered, but layered gently at the ends. Bleached, processed hair impedes light to travel throughout the hair shaft. Wash hair with volumizing shampoo and conditioner, then blow dry hair 90% of the way, facing the blow dryer nozzle downwards and not up the hair shaft. After 90%, apply a nickel-sized, non-oil volumizer all over the hair.
Work with a medium round brush, taking eyebrow to eyebrow sections down the head like a mohawk. Put each section in 2 inch Velcro rollers and let sit for 5 minutes. Take out the rollers and blow dry all your hair away from your face. Use a shine spray and a light hairspray to hold the style.
We will definitely be putting these tips to use! Tell us what you think about Kate’s latest beauty look and share your perfect blow out tips down in the comments below, HollywoodLifers!
