So many hot acts rocked the 2013 American Country Awards show at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nev. on Dec. 10. From the night’s big winners to jaw-dropping performances like Lady Antebellum‘s hit “Compass,” and Video Visionary Award honoree Brad Paisley‘s “Mona Lisa,” check out our favorite moments of the night!
American Country Awards Show’s Best Moments — Lady Antebellum’s Performance
Taylor Swift was honored with the Worldwide Artist Award — presented by none other than the iconic Olivia Newton-John. Taylor accepted her award via video from Olivia’s home country, Australia!
LeAnn Rimes gave a stunning tribute to the late country legend, Patsy Cline. While no one on earth can compete with the great icon, LeAnn definitely did the innovative artist proud with her performance at the awards show.
Lady Antebellum gave an amazing performance of their new hit song, “Compass,” to kick off the award show. They literally lit up the audience — their fans held glow sticks and clapped along to their music, and the whole act was nothing short of magical.
Danica Patrick and Trace Adkins were unexpectedly hilarious as hosts for the big award show night. The fast-paced racer and slow-talking country crooner played off each other’s energies, and kept their Elvis jokes and good-natured “trash-talking” about one another entertaining us all throughout the night!
Brad Paisley was a huge honoree of the night, picking up the Video Visionary Award after rocking the stage with his new hit song, “Mona Lisa.”
