Alex Sekella unexpectedly started a major Twitter backlash after saying Teen Mom 3 didn’t have enough drama to sustain another season. She really offended other moms in the franchise, especially Jenelle Evans and Kailyn Lowry — the girls of Teen Mom 2!
It all started when Alex confirmed the end of Teen Mom 3, citing that her cast wasn’t dramatic enough:
Yes no more teen mom 3. Guess we weren’t enough of train wrecks for it to be interesting. America wants to watch crazies oh well #relieved
— Alexandria Sekella (@OfficialSekella) December 7, 2013
Kailyn was upset that Alex dissed her successful season — the only one still on the air, and she stood up for her cast mate Leah Messer:
@nikkoleMTV So mtv continued with us because we’re train wrecks? Not to mention Leah and I were not teens when we decided to get pregnant. — Kailyn Lowry (@KailLowry) December 7, 2013
While clarifying some of her statements, Alex turned the focus to Jenelle.
@_LifeOfLogan jenelle makes teen mom 2 only reason ppl watch is to see her fail

You know that Jenelle wouldn’t let Alex get away with that! She responded:
All u #TeemMom3 ladies can put me down all yu want, yr not making yrself look any better. Let it go already. — Jenelle Evans (@PBandJenelley_1) December 8, 2013
While this was going down, Briana DeJesus subtly called out the first season’s Farrah Abraham in her tweet!
Time to move on from MTV and do bigger and better things😉 & no I don’t mean become a porn star lol

To her credit, Mackenzie Douthit piped in to say that she didn’t know where the fighting came from, because the other Teen Mom girls had always been sweet to her:
I would never have a bad word to say about any of the TM2 girls. Were all always family and meeting them was amazing.Sweetest girls ever

Katie Yeager kept mum in the feud and instead, spread the love around to her fellow Teen Mom 3 girls.
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Do you think the girls were justified in getting upset, or is this all spiraling out of hand?
