The ‘Gravity’ star looked gorgeous in a Carolina Herrera frock at the Tokyo premiere — did you love her look? VOTE.
Sandra Bullock opted for a clean, feminine dress for the Tokyo premiere of her hit movie Gravity. She is such a fashion chameleon that she can wear everything from figure hugging dresses to more conceptual pieces, just like this Carolina Herrera dress, which she debuted on Dec. 5. The shade of blue and stunning lace hem that peeks out from underneath the frock are perfect for the Tokyo setting.
Sandra Bullock’s ‘Gravity’ Dress — Tokyo Premiere:
Sandra complimented her look with natural makeup and a simple, pulled back hairstyle to accentuate the neckline of her dress. She also kept her jewelry minimal by wearing only a pair of stud earrings. The cut of this dress is so flattering on her. The seam lines mimic the curves of her body and give her a subtle hourglass figure. While the hem actually falls quite low on her, the transparent lace adds great texture — and pa eek-a-boo element to the flatter blue tone on top.
Her choice of footwear is a little questionable on this occasion as they make her legs look short against the length of the dress. However, Sandra still looks great for having to travel from one country to the next to promote her movie. One thing we love about her is that she always dresses age appropriate. Sandra knows where to draw the line at too young and too mature. She takes fashion risks but also keeps things simple, and doesn’t go overboard with accessories. In this look especially, we see her try a modern silhouette successfully. We hope she continues to push fashion boundaries ever so slightly, but still keep to her bubbly and fun personality.
