Someone got a little too excited about the Obama family’s White House Christmas tree decoration party — the family’s newest pup, Sunny! Oh no!
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama invited military families to their annual unveiling of their special Christmas tree decorations on Dec. 4, but one young guest got a little extra attention from one of the family dogs, Sunny! Two-year-old Ashtyn Gardner of Mobile, Ala. took a tumble when the over-eager dog hopped up on her and knocked her over!

Michelle was shocked that the family dog literally jumped out of line to playfully greet a Ashtyn, but luckily the toddler quickly recovered from her spill, and was unharmed.
In fact, Ashtyn was more than fine — she got a great big hug from the First Lady after she picked herself up — a memory to last a lifetime!
Luckily, the First Family’s older dog, Bo, has learned from experience with these kinds of events, and he was on his best behavior when meeting the guests!

Michelle stressed the importance of honoring military families, and dedicated the year’s Blue Room tree to the United States military.
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Do you think it’s cute the Obama pet dogs greeted the kids?
