Paul Walker Sr.: ‘Every Time I Saw Him, I Told Him I Loved Him’
In the very emotional interview, Paul Sr. struggles to find the right words as he tries to process his devastating loss.
“I’m just glad that every time I saw him, I told him I loved him,” he says as he chokes down tears. “And he would say the same thing to me.”
We cannot imagine how difficult this must be for Paul Sr. Thankfully, Paul is in the company of family and friends — on Dec. 1, loved ones gathered at the Walker family home in Sunland, Calif. to mourn Paul together. “You can’t beat friends at a time like this,” Paul says, adding that his other sons “are all taking it pretty hard.”
Paul Walker Was Going To Take Time Off To Be With His Daughter
The tragedy just gets worse and worse. According to Paul Sr., his son was trying his best to spend extra time with his 15-year-old daughter Meadow before the accident.
“‘I want to take a hiatus,'” Paul Sr. recalls his son as saying before his tragic death. “‘She’s just 15 and I don’t have much more time to be with her.’ Then boom, he got another movie. He would say, ‘I don’t know what to do.'”
It truly sounds like Paul was a wonderful person, and HollywoodLife‘s thoughts and prayers are with his family during this devastating time.
