The police showed up to Denise’s home on Nov. 26 after Brooke reportedly claimed that Denise abused her twin sons — as well as her own two daughters — while they were in her care.
Charlie Sheen‘s ex-wife Brooke Mueller called the police to accuse Denise Richards of abusing of Brooke’s twin sons, Max and Bob, 4, while they were in Denise’s care from May, 2013 to Nov. 8, 2013. Brooke also claimed that Denise abused her own two daughters with Charlie, Sam and Lola Sheen, during this time, according to a new report. Read on for EXCLUSIVE details.
Brooke Mueller: Denise Richards Child Abuse Accusations — Cops Called
The police showed up to Denise’s home on the night of Nov. 26 to question her about child abuse claims made by Brooke, TMZ reports. She didn’t invite them into her home because her daughters were there at the time.
Denise was reportedly upset by the claim, calling it “ridiculous” and “vindictive,” sources tell TMZ. The site says that if Brooke’s claim is false, it will have severe consequences, because her twins, along with Denise’s daughters, will be forced to answer a set of intense questions that could be traumatizing for the young children.
Although the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services cannot comment on specific incidents, Neil Zanville, a public affairs spokesperson for the department, tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY:
When we receive a call and we warrant it as an emergency, an emergency response social worker would investigate and talk to all parties involved. That would include children, parents, relatives or any one who’s directly involved in the matter.
In May 2013, Denise was ordered to care for Charlie and Brooke’s twins after authorities removed the boys from Brooke’s home while she recovered from a drug problem. On Nov. 8, the twins moved out of Denise’s home and into the care of Brooke and her brother, Scott.
Charlie Sheen’s Twins To Be Tested For Fetal Alcohol & Drug Syndrome
Brooke’s children have already been through so much. The Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services demanded that Brooke “sign off on having the boys tested and assessed for fetal drug and alcohol syndrome,” according to a Nov. 11 Radar Online report.
Since Brooke checked into rehab twice due to alleged abuse of crystal meth during her pregnancy, it’s possible her twins may suffer from fetal alcohol syndrome, a serious medical condition which occurs when a woman drinks or takes drugs during pregnancy.
