Now these are the things us ‘Catching Fire’ fans have really been wanting to know! In a funny new interview, the actor behind Peeta Mellark talked about the one male co-star who has him swooning. Who could it be?
The Hunger Games and Catching Fire are incredible movies for many reasons, one of which being the films’ impressive volume of hunky guys. Even Josh Hutcherson agrees, admitting that there is one other guy in the cast he wouldn’t mind smooching. He has to be talking about Liam Hemsworth, right?
Josh Hutcherson: His Man Crush Is…
Given the choice between Liam and Lenny (sorry Woody Harrelson and Donald Sutherland, you guys were not up for consideration), Josh said, “They’re so different. I’d probably say Lenny. Only because, like, the cool, like, artist kind of thing. And he’s just rock and roll through and through. That is just… he’s got it going on.”
Take note, guys — Josh likes musicians!
Josh Hutcherson Speaks Out For Gay Rights
It’s no surprise Josh isn’t afraid to talk about his man crushes — he’s already known for being pretty open about his sexuality. Though he defined himself as straight in a 2013 interview with Out magazine, he also admitted that that could change.
“Maybe I could right now I’m 100 [percent] straight. But who knows?” Josh told the magazine. He continued:
In a f**king year, I could meet a guy and be like, “Whoa, I’m attracted to this person.” I really love women. But I think defining yourself as 100 [percent] anything is kind of near-sighted and close-minded.
Josh is also an outspoken advocate for equal rights for gay, lesbian, transsexual, and bisexual communities. Good for you, Josh! We just want the 21-year-old to stay true to himself, and if that includes a little Peeta-on-Cinna action, we won’t exactly complain.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Are you surprised Josh chose Lenny? Let us know!
