Kate Middleton may still officially be on maternity leave as Prince George is just four months old, but that didn’t stop her from stepping out for a day of work as Patron of Place2Be at the London-based charity on Nov. 20. The 31-year-old was looking appropriate and chic in a pleated navy Orla Kiely skirt and a Max Mara jacket, which was paired with Alexander McQueen pumps, for her appearance. While she was perfectly put together, even the stylish Duchess couldn’t combat the wintery weather as a strong gust of wind blew her skirt right up! While Kate’s long, svelte legs were exposed, she luckily avoided a wardrobe malfunction.
This is the second day in a row Kate rocked Orla Kiely — just the day before she stepped out for another appearance where she recycled a printed brown dress from the designer that she first wore prior to her pregnancy! Kate is looking better than ever — and we can’t get over her post-baby body! She looked amazing in the monochromatic separates, which she accessorized with a pair of Cornelia James gloves that featured a bow and a Russell and Bromley blue suede ‘Muse’ bag. Cornelia James is also responsible for making gloves for the Queen! Sporting her signature glossy blowout, the royal rocked a half-up, half-down hairstyle — perhaps it was due to the windy weather? Since her hair was back it allowed Kate to show off her dainty Annoushka pearl earrings.
It wasn’t surprising to see Kate step out, as the issue of bullying is one she is passionate about. In fact, at her wedding in 2011 the Duchess and Prince William asked for donations to be made to the ‘Beat Bullying’ charity in lieu of wedding gifts.
While her skirt blew up and we doubt she wanted to reveal the top of her thighs, Kate still looked amazing and she handled the moment like a pro!
What did you think of Kate’s latest look?
