The fashionable first lady looked cool and casual for her NYC appearance, which consisted of chic Burberry separates. Did you like her look?
There is nothing better than having a first lady that is an advocate for higher education — and we also don’t mind that she’s a major fashion icon. Michelle Obama is known for her fantastic sense of style and while she often dons one amazing dress after another, this time she opted for a more casual get-up as she appeared on 106 & Park in NYC on Nov. 18, where she was on hand to speak words of wisdom to the youth on the BET show. Even when she’s dressing down, she still looks perfectly put together — and that’s exactly what she did on this occasion as she rocked a leather Burberry jacket and a pair of grey flared trousers, (also by the brand).
Michelle Obama’s ‘106 & Park Outfit’:
The first lady opted for chic separates for the occasion that were both appropriate and stylish for her appearance — we love how Michelle pulls off every look effortlessly. The FLOTUS rocked Burberry’s ‘Fitted Nappa Leather Jacket’ which featured a single-button closure and it draped beautifully around her figure. The jacket looked great with her fitted ‘Melange Wool Flared Trousers’ and a black and white graphic tee that revealed her amazing figure. Michelle topped off her ensemble with dark kitten heels, light makeup, and her medium long brown tresses worn in a wavy style to seal the deal.
This was the first time the first lady ever appeared on the show so it was only right that Michelle showed up dressed to kill. The fact that she is so stylish plays well with the youth as she spoke about the importance of education. “So many young people just get into the grades and checking the boxes of the things they think they’re supposed to do, but there’s also a value in learning how to love to learn,” she said.
We are in love with Michelle’s ensemble on 106 & Park. We love how she mixed her Burberry separates, creating such a put together look. Even when she’s not rocking a frock or a gown, Michelle knows how to give us that glam-chic look we love and adore. What do you guys think? Are you loving this ensemble as much as I am or do you think Michelle should have opted for another look? Check it out and sound off below!
