He’s back! After a headline-spawning departure from ‘DWTS’ last season, Maksim Chmerkovskiy will return Nov. 18 in a much different role than the former pro is used to.
‘Dancing’ Bad Boy Returns
Throughout Maksim’s 14 seasons on the show, the bad boy of ballroom became notorious for butting heads with judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba, so it should be interesting when the former pro joins them to critique the few remaining dancers left during the semifinals on Nov. 18. Unfortunately his brother Val and partner Elizabeth Berkley Lauren have already been eliminated, so at least they can’t accuse Maksim of any bias — though Julianne Hough was permitted to judge her brother Derek, so it’s definitely been done before!
Who Will Maks Send Home?
When Maks returns to the Mirror Ball Madness on Monday, he’ll be scoring Leah Remini, Glee star Amber Riley, comedian Bill Engvall, Jack Osbourne and former High School Musical star Corbin Bleu. Leah and Bill have struggled in recent weeks, and the show received some outrage (read: boos) during the Nov. 11 episode when critical darling Elizabeth, who received a perfect score, was sent home. So according to our extensive research and expert calculations, it’s Bill’s turn to get steppin… off the stage, that is.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Will you tune in for Maksim’s judging stint? Who do you think should go home?
