Laura, who will appear on four episodes of the Netflix series’ second season, revealed darker locks on Instagram.

Get pumped, Alex Vause fans! Laura Prepon is getting ready to film her limited appearance on the second season of Orange Is The New Black, and she’s got the locks to show for it. The actress, who plays the former girlfriend of Taylor Schilling‘s Piper, posted a picture on Instagram with her niece — as well as her character’s trademark mane.

Laura’s dark ‘do is a stark contrast to the much-lighter locks we saw her sporting just over a month ago. She walked the carpet Nov. 2 at the Machete Kills premiere, showing off a short, almost orange-y cut.

We think Laura looks amazing either way, but as fans of Orange Is The New Black, we’re definitely glad to see her back on the dark side!

‘Orange Is The New Black’ Season 2: Laura Prepon Returning For 4 Episodes

News of Laura’s departure from the Netflix hit first broke in Aug. 2013, with BuzzFeed reporting that she didn’t sign a contract tying her to the show for season two. Fans were understandably crushed, though their pain was (slightly) alleviated when it was revealed that Laura would return for one episode to tie up her character’s loose ends.

Now, that one-episode appearance has been upgraded to a whopping four episodes, giving fans — especially those hoping for an Alex-Piper reunion — even more to look forward to when the show returns.

Orange Is The New Black was renewed for a second season on June 27, 2013. Season two is set to premiere, in full, on Netflix sometime in 2014.

HollywoodLifers, are you glad to hear that Laura Prepon will be on the show for four episodes? Are you hoping she decides to return full-time? Drop a comment with your thoughts on Orange Is The New Black season two!
