What are the Jonas Brothers doing?! Two weeks after the now-defunct band explained their split on ‘Good Morning America,’ Joe and Nick showed up to a Mexico City show and performed — without Kevin.
This would never happen to Hanson. Everyone already knew that “internal complications” were responsible for the big Jonas Brothers split, but this latest bit of news may come as a shock to even the most fervent of the Jonas faithful. Joe Jonas, 24, and Nick Jonas, 21, played a show Nov. 12 in Mexico without big bro Kevin Jonas!
Nick & Joe Perform Due To ‘Previous Commitment’
TMZ reports that Nick and Joe only showed up to the Telehit Awards Concert because they felt guilty for canceling their commitment to the show. This responsibility obviously didn’t phase Kevin, 26, who was nowhere to be seen as the two younger Jonas boys rocked out. We know that Kevin has a lot on his plate with a baby on the way, but couldn’t he give this one final show of solidarity with the brothers that helped define his career? No?
Could Joe and Nick Work as a Duo?
Heartbroken fans are still waiting for four promised unreleased tracks from the Jo Bros’ now canceled album V, but after that, it’s all up in the air. Kevin, who was responsible for deleting the band’s Twitter account, plans to explore the business side of the industry, but Nick and Joe still want to perform.
Does this mean that Nick and Joe are considering alternative options, together? Only time will tell, but the Mexico City show was definitely a major step in the Nick and Joe (minus Kevin!) direction!
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Should Joe and Nick perform as a duo?
