There’s nothing that Miley Cyrus sings better than a sad love song — and when she covered the bittersweet ballad on Nov. 12, her voice was heavy with emotion as she belted out the heart-wrenching lyrics. Do you think Liam Hemsworth was the inspiration behind her song choice, HollywoodLifers?
Miley Cyrus Covers Summertime Sadness — Because Of Liam Hemsworth?
Miley performed an acoustic set in London on Nov. 12 to keep promoting Bangerz on BBC Radio 1’s “Live Lounge.”
She sang her ballad “Wrecking Ball” first, and then chose to sing Lana del Rey‘s “Summertime Sadness.” She did an incredible job covering the song, letting her deep voice soar — but when she sang the lyrics, “Kiss me hard before you go, Summertime sadness, I just wanted you to know, that baby, you’re the best,” we noticed how much she was pouring her heart into the notes.
Perhaps she chose the song because she and Liam called off their engagement in the summer on Sept. 16.
Sounds like Miley is missing him — since she still calls Liam late at night when she’s emotional!

Poor Miley! Perhaps covering more ballads will help her deal with her heartache.
