Jennifer Lawrence ‘Catching Fire’ Party Dress:
The 23-year-old actress seems to be really loving her new pixie cut, and we love the way she continues to rock backless gowns now that she doesn’t have to worry about her hair distracting from her dress! On this occasion she looked like she was on her way to one of Gatsby’s infamous parties in an embellished number that featured a sheer overlay. The sleeveless silhouette extended right past her knees and featured a slit, but the real surprise was when the star turned around to reveal the plunging back of the ensemble. The open back balanced out the rather shapeless silhouette and added a sexy vibe to the ensemble.
Black, ankle-strap sandals elongated her legs and polished off the dainty, feminine look while she switched up her ‘do, wearing her hair parted to the side with her bangs sweeping across her face. For the premiere the star’s pixie was worn back, off her face, and looked so polished, however, her parted ‘do definitely was more appropriate for the party!
Her afterparty look really consisted of the quintessential party dress and the actress looked like she was ready to have fun in her frock.
What do you think of Jen’s flapper-inspired dress? Did you like the look or did you think the silhouette was to shapeless for the star’s figure?
