With the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show right around the corner, the Angels have amped up their workout routines and they’re paying extra attention to their diets. Find out how these gals are getting runway ready for the big day!
While the Victoria’s Secret models always look amazing when they strut their stuff on the runway at the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in their little lingerie looks, they obviously prepare in advance for the big day! Luckily, these gals also have great genes and a healthy lifestyle so suiting up isn’t as intimidating as it might be for the average gal — but that doesn’t mean they haven’t kicked their diet and workout routine into high gear! So, what does a lingerie model do to make sure she’ll look good wearing next to nothing?
Victoria’s Secret Model Workout Tips:
We got to catch up with Angels Lily Aldridge, 27, Lindsay Ellingson, 28, and Alessandra Ambrosio as they celebrated the launch of the Victoria’s Secret ‘world’s best sports bra’ in both NYC and LA, and they admitted that they’re totally focused on preparing for the show!
Lily Aldridge’s Pre-Show Plan:
So, how does this hot mama prepare before the show? “I am doing Ballet Beautiful,” she said. “It’s very good for your body, and very healthy and fun, so it’s my go-to.” The model also spilled on what she’s eating leading up to the show. “I don’t really diet,” she admitted. “I just eat a lot of clean food.”
Working out is way more fun when you feel great in your clothes — and Lily agrees! “The Incredible Sports Bra is my favorite. I love it, it’s the one I’m wearing today, it’s the one I work out in. And all the pants are amazing… they feel really good, you look sexy in them, they lift your booty up, make you look good. I love the line,” she said.
Lindsay Ellingson On How She’s Preparing For The Victoria’s Secret Show:
Lindsay has legs for days and a figure to die for, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t amping up her workout! “I’ve been working out about three times a week and I switch it up between fitness and yoga,” she said. Not only does the model endure fitness classes weekly, but lots of healthy eating as well!
“I wouldn’t say it’s a diet- it’s just like a lifestyle. I like to eat healthy organic foods, lots of vegetables. I love juicing. I love adding cold press juices to my daily routine. I get them from Juice Press or Organic Ave. it’s very convenient because it can be delivered to your house. It’s so healthy. You feel so energized. I’ve actually stopped drinking coffee because these juices energize me and make me feel even better,” she admitted.
Alessandra Ambrosio’s Workout Plan:
The sexy supermodel shared on how she prepares her mind, (and her body!), for the big show to HollywoodLife.com at the Victoria’s Secret World’s Best Sport Bras Launch in LA. “I try to get my mind into it and I work out as much as I can,” she said. “I try to hit the gym, and a little tan from the California sunshine always helps! I will lay by the pool and get a healthy tan.”
Aside from lounging by the pool, she’s also going to watch what she eats. “I’ll be eating healthy and I’ll watch what I’m eating,” she admitted. “I will eat salads and greens and juices, I love green juices. I will cut down on cakes and all that other bad stuff.”
The show will be filmed on Nov. 13 in NYC and it will air in December — and we can’t wait to see these sexy models storm the runway!
