We can’t wait for ‘Glee’ to return, but it could mean the end is near for one of our favorite couples!
Glee is returning Nov. 7 when we’ll see the long-awaited Starchild (Adam Lambert) join the family — but it’s not all fun and games. Will he butt in and ruin one of our favorite relationships on the show? Caution: spoilers ahead!
‘Glee’ Scoop: Which Couple May Break Up?
On episode four, all our favorite couples are safely and soundly conquering Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, but don’t expect the happiness to last long. In episode five, The End of the Twerk, one of the cutest couples at McKinley could be calling it quits.
Oh no — we may be saying goodbye to Jarley! The full episode descripton lets us know that thanks to “the new Santana,” Jake (Jacob Artist) and Marley (Melissa Benoist) could be facing some seriously issues in the love department:
Jake’s new closeness with Bree (Erinn Westbrook) becomes known by his girlfriend Marley.
Marley: Will She Lean On Ryder?
Ouch — that doesn’t sound good. On the episode, the New Directions will learn how to twerk, and of course in true Miley Cyrus form, Marley will be taking on the break up song “Wrecking Ball.”
Can we expect Marley to lean on Ryder (Blake Jenner) when she finds out about Jake and Bree? Or will there be too many blurred lines to clear it up? Since the Robin Thicke song is performed by Bree, Jake, Kitty, Artie and Will, it could definitely be an option. We’d assume that Bree is flirting with Jake and Marley finds out.
Is it bad that part of me wants to see Marley and Ryder reunite after that steamy behind-the-curtain-of-Grease kiss they shared in season four?
Other songs in the episode include Beyonce‘s “If I Were a Boy,” performed by Unique (Alex Newell); “You Are Woman, I Am Man,” from Funny Girl, performed by Rachel (Lea Michele) and Paolo (Ioan Gruffudd) ; and “On Our Way,” by The Royal Concept, performed by the New Directions.
Who do you want Marley to be with, HollywoodLifers? Are you Team Jake or Team Ryder? Let us know!
