Demi Lovato, 21, released “Let It Go” on Oct. 21 and has been teasing the video on social media ever since. The song, which is featured in the animated film, Frozen, is uplifting and beautiful — just like the new video! Watch for yourself right here.
Demi’s video is set in a mansion, atop a snowy mountain, where she expressively pours her heart out!
She begins the video wearing a black, lacy gothic dress. All of the furniture in the mansion is covered by sheets, giving off a bleak, wintery feel. When she hits her most inspiring notes, she’s suddenly wearing a gorgeous white gown, and throws the covers off of the furniture. Demi also sits down at a grand piano to play the final notes of the powerful song!
Demi took to Twitter on Nov. 1 and excitedly announced the video’s premiere:

The video was obviously filmed before Demi’s super dramatic hair change that she debuted on Oct. 2 — going from blonde to blue!
“Let It Go” is performed by Elsa the Snow Queen in Frozen, who is voiced by Idina Menzel. Her song will play at the end of the film and the entire soundtrack will be released on Nov. 25.
We couldn’t wait that long for Demi’s video — and either could she!
“You can expect some incredible visuals,” she told Radio Disney while she was filming the video. “Just the location and everything, the clothes, like I’m so excited to see how it looks on camera. It’s pretty cool, I like the concept.”
