Chris Brown Entering Rehab After Misdemeanor Assault Charge
We told you Chris’ rep said in an official statement, “Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility. His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point.”
Chris is going to anger management “to talk about his childhood,” a source close to the singer told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. ”He’s got a lot of built-up issues that only he knows and he wants and needs to get that off his chest.”
After Chris met with officials from the L.A. County probation department, his lawyer, Mark Geragos, dropped him off at a rehab facility in Malibu on Oct. 29, according to a new report from TMZ. Chris’ mother, Joyce, and on-again girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, 25, also accompanied him to the facility. It’s great that he still has the support of Karrechue, who must be very proud of him for taking this huge step.
Chris had a lot of time to reflect on his life while he was in jail and a source close to him told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that he said he was “tired of life and all the bullsh*t that comes along with being a rapper.”
“That’s all he did in there was sit and think,” the source adds. “He said his eyes were closed the whole time he was in there. He was just in his head, thinking about how much he want a normal life. No cameras. No interviews. Just normal peace.”
We hope Chris will find the peace he is looking for in rehab.
