What a relief! Camille Grammer, 45, was granted with a restraining order on Oct. 29, after a scary fight in with boyfriend, Dimitri Charalambopoulos, that allegedly left her “bruised and battered.” Luckily, she told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that she is now “healthy and happy.”
While Camille is happy with the results of the case, she has told us that she’s now hoping that her story will inspire other women to come forward.
“I want to encourage women everywhere to speak up for themselves when it comes to domestic violence and abuse. I’m hanging in there and I feel strong,” Camille tells us. “At first when it happened, I wasn’t going to say anything. However, after talking to my therapist she encouraged me to speak up. She told me me, ‘You need to use your voice. You are stronger than you know.’ Domestic violence is an epidemic and there are too many silent women suffering. They are afraid to speak up. I have to speak up for my own recovery. I want to empower other women.”
“I want women to know there is NO excuse to hit a women. I was recuperating in my bed when he hit me. I just got out of a major surgery. I was completely vulnerable. He was suppose to be there to take care of me, comfort me, bring me food. I still wake up in the middle of the night with this vision in my head of being hit.,” says Camille.
“This is the same man that bought me the spiritual book ‘The Four Agreements’ and the First Agreement is to Be Impeccable With Your Word. …so that’s what I am doing,” the reality star confidently reveals.
Currently, Dimitri, 35, was ordered to stay 100 yards away from her as well as her children, Mason Olivia Grammer and Jude Gordon Grammer.
“I am still in shock. This is the man who said he loved me. For me, I have to be strong. I have to speak up,” Camille adds. “And like I said, there are no excuses. I had to speak up because if not it leads to denial, and something like this never gets better, only worse.”
In the report, which HollywoodLife.com has obtained from her camp, Camille explained the horrific experience, and how she managed to get help.
Camille was recovering from having surgery for endometrial cancer on Oct. 16 when Dimitri’s cell phone rang at 1:30 AM. It was a woman screaming on the other end.
The call escalated to a fight between Camille and her boyfriend, in which she says he grabbed her by the hair, and slammed her head into the headboard. He then attempted to cover her mouth and nose to prevent her from breathing.

When she tried to call for help, he smashed her iPhone, she said. In the photos above, you can see the phone she referred to, as well the hair that he allegedly pulled out.
She said that the physical violence went on for 40 minutes.
“He wrestled me on the hotel bed, repeatedly slamming my head and face into the furniture and completely immobilizing me,” she wrote in the report. She added that he told her, “I wanna smash your head in. I’ll give you a reason to call the cops.”
After the 40 minutes were up, she said he unplugged all the phones in the room, told her he would knock her out if she moved, and left the room. Camille got up after three minutes and ran to the lobby, where an employee called the police.
We’re so happy that Camille is ok! Keep coming back for all the updates!
