It’s clear that Justin Bieber wants Selena Gomez to know the depth of his heartbreak, evidenced in his public message that describes his new song, “Recovery.” He called the track one of his most “important” songs ever, since he absolutely poured his heart out to Selena in it. Keep reading to find out what he said!
On the heels of releasing his new Music Monday song, “Recovery,” on Oct. 28, Justin, 19, wrote a message describing what inspired the track:
“Recovery is an acknowledgement that in life you can’t just fall down and not get over things. You have to step up and recover. At the time, I was going through a very hard break up and when you’re going through stuff like that, you think that the world is just gonna end. Then you wake up the next day and realize that life has to go on. Recovery is that feeling you get when you start to move on and make things better for yourself, because yesterday is gone and tomorrow is here. -JB.”
He also tweeted on Oct. 28:
Recovery is too powerful to not be recognized ….

He’s really trying to hit the message home to Selena, 21, that she was his world — and possibly still is — since he also posted a video of himself singing “Recovery” on Instagram!
In Justin’s video, he’s smiling while crooning “Recovery” lyrics. He seems to be begging his ex for a second chance in the song, promising that he’ll do right by her this time around.
When he sings, “Wanna give you all I have to give, I’m not holdin back this time,” he really meant it!
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Should Selena take Justin back? Let us know!
