Just give ’em a taste, and they’ll be coming back for more. That’s the strategy employed by stars like Kim K, Miley, and Kristen Stewart (and many more!), who have been seen sporting the sexy and daring look of showing just a bit of their bras in public. So who’s pulled off the trend best?
Though many stars have taken to baring it all recently, there’s one fashion-y trend catching on that we’re much more on board with — the bra slip.
Kim Kardashian, Kristen Stewart & More: Subtly Baring Their Bras
The bra slip is exactly what it sounds like — when a star’s sexy undergarments are put on display as part of the outfit or simply peek through a loose-fitting or see-through shirt. It’s a perfect way to toe the line between sexy and trashy by showing off but also leaving enough to the imagination.
Some stars get their bra slip on in sly ways, while others make sure you don’t miss a second of the sneak preview. Let’s start with the first group.
Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez, Kristen Stewart, and many other sexy ladies have let their bras show by wearing skimpy white tank tops. Not only are the white beaters translucent enough to let everyone see their colorful bra choices, but the low-hanging arm holes also allow the stars to show their bras from the profile.
Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj & More: The Daring Bra-Showers
There’s something to be said for subtlety, but we also can’t knock the girls who go for it 100 percent. Miley Cyrus let her bra show proudly in a mesh see-through jersey dress that she wore on Saturday Night Live on Oct. 5, but some stars have gotten even bolder flaunting their intimates.
Such as Lady Gaga (of course), who stepped out in a pair of leather overalls… and no shirt. Nope, just a semi-sheer pink bra. Now THAT’S how it’s done. Nicki Minaj has also gone down this road, wearing an unbuttoned denim jacket over her bra-covered body.
Okay, we’re going to need to go get a class of cold water after all this sexy talk. So while we’re gone, HollywoodLifers, let us know who you think has worn the bra slip look best!
