None of us will ever forget the tearful Glee tribute episode, dedicated to both Cory Monteith and his character Finn Hudson. It did a number on the cast as well, but according to Naya Rivera they’re slowly “picking up the pieces” as they film new episodes.
“It was really difficult to shoot and difficult to watch,” Naya told Entertainment Tonight about the tribute episode at Elle magazine’s Women In Hollywood celebration Oct. 21. “But, you know [we’re] picking up the pieces now and shooting some new episodes.”
We’re glad to hear that the cast is so doing well, especially after co-creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that the show will officially end next year — though maybe it’s for the best.
“All good things must come to an end, and we’ve had a really good run,” Naya said. “Whenever that day comes, I’m just going to be grateful that I was on it to begin with.”
The show may be ending next season, but season five has only just begun. Naya gave a bit of a sneak peek into what we can expect on the next episode.
“It’s really exciting; there’s a lot of fun costumes in it,” she revealed.
