Kanye popped the question to Kim on Oct. 21, and I couldn’t be happier for the couple. However, I do strongly believe that they should keep their wedding small and intimate.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are crazy in love — that’s not something they’ve kept secret. She’s made his initials into gold earrings, and he wears a t-shirt with her face on it. However, just because they’re public about their adoration for each other, that doesn’t mean they should have a big, televised wedding.
Kanye West & Kim Kardashian: Keep Your Wedding Small
I know that Kanye will agree — he’s not one to want their relationship on TV. While we know the cameras were there during ‘Ye’s elaborate proposal at AT&T Park in San Francisco, that doesn’t mean they will be there when the singer says ‘”I do” to the reality star.
They shouldn’t show the wedding on TV. While Kim and sister, Khloe Kardashian‘s last weddings were televised, it would be nice to keep this one quiet and personal.
Kanye, 36, hasn’t ever wanted his personal life on camera — he was barely on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and he’s made it clear he doesn’t want his daughter North West on TV. It’s no secret he’s not a huge fan of the media.
Kanye & Kim: A Small Wedding Would Be More Personal
Meanwhile, the wedding would mean much more to both of them if it was a small, intimate ceremony. Much of their lives are in the spotlight — whether they want it to be or not.
But a wedding is a sacred moment, and while I obviously would love to see it, it would much more romantic and meaningful for them.
Kim’s wedding to Kris Humphries was a gigantic ordeal, and televised on E! While it may have earned a great deal of money for Kim and Kris, it’s just not necessary.
Kanye kept the proposal super romantic with a 50-piece orchestra. We want to hear about the little, romantic things Kanye does for their wedding, too.
Before Kanye, Kim was showing every part of her life, but he’s tamed her and tried to bring her away from the spotlight. So, by having their wedding privately and keeping it small, it would really show that their love is true and really all about what it should be — just the two of them.
Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Kim and Kanye should keep their wedding small or make it a bigger one?
