A recent report claims that Khloe is stalling an imminent divorce from Lamar because she could inherit millions of dollars if anything were to happen to him. But the reality star is not after her husband’s hefty bank account — and she never was, a source tells HollywoodLife.com.
Khloe Kardashian could stand to make millions of dollars if something horrible happens to her troubled husband Lamar Odom, who reportedly has a life insurance policy with his wife listed as the principal beneficiary. But Khloe, 29, has more than enough money of her own, and she’s not the “kind of person” who would do something like that anyway, a source tells HollywoodLife.com. Read on for all the EXCLUSIVE details!
Khloe Kardashian Staying With Lamar Odom For Money? — Not So Fast…
According to a new report from TMZ, Khloe is staying in her turbulent marriage with Lamar, 33, because it could make her very, very wealthy. However, our source begs to differ.
“Khloe is in no way holding off a divorce from Lamar because of money. She is not that kind of person,” a friend of the Kardashian family tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Plus, she has enough money of her own. She has never been interested in Lamar because of his money.”
So what’s keeping the couple together? Is Khloe really afraid that a divorce would push Lamar over the edge?
“She just wants him to get better,” the insider says. “If she does divorce him, it would be because of Lamar’s drug use and his ongoing refusal to get help.”
Sadly, it doesn’t look like Lamar will be checking into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center any time soon.
Is Lamar Odom Trying To Get Better?
Even though Lamar has not entered rehab, he is reportedly eager to get better for his family.
“He just wants to get healthy and be there for his kids. He is taking steps to get himself back on track,” a source told E! Online. “He wants his old life back, although he realizes that might not include Khloé.”
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Is Khloe staying with Lamar for the right reasons? Should she divorce him? Let us know.
