Kanye West Proposes To Kim Kardashian — Watch
Kanye is definitely a sweetheart. For Kim’s birthday, he flew her to San Francisco and rented out the full stadium. While her family and close friends hid in the dugout, he got down on one knee and popped the question with a stunning 15-carat diamond, emerald-cut ring by Lorraine Schwartz.
Luckily, Kim said yes — and we’re sure she was completely swooning over Kanye’s gesture. On the jumbotron, he projected a message that read “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!” In front of the screen was a 50-piece orchestra — how romantic. See the proposal below!
During the proposal, two songs were played. First was “Young and Beautiful,” by Lana Del Rey. Below are some of the most romantic lyrics — read them and then listen to the full song! “Dear lord when I get to heaven, please let me bring my man. When he comes tell me that you’ll let him in. Father tell me if you can. Oh that grace, oh that body, oh that face makes me wanna party. He’s my sun, he makes me shine like diamonds.”
Next, the orchestra went in to “Knock You Down,” a song by Keri Hilson, featuring Kanye and Ne-Yo. The song is definitely a hit, and super adorable — the lyrics are so romantic! “I never thought I’d fall for you as hard as I did. You got me thinkin’ about our life, our house and kids. Every morning I look at you and smile, ’cause boy you came around and you knocked me down.” Listen to the full song below!
We’re so happy for Kim and Kanye! Are you surprised by Kanye’s engagement? Let us know!
