The brand’s founder and designer, Cecile Reinaud, shared helpful fall fashion tips for pregnant ladies who want to keep their signature style as their baby bump grows!
Kate Middleton’s Maternity Fashions — Seraphine Designer’s Pregnancy Fashion Tips
If your outfit is feeling blah, dress it up with some fierce accessories! “Accessories help to keep your fashion edge,” Seraphine‘s designer Cecile told Metro news. “Quite a few women become less adventurous with colors; they just feel, ‘Oh, I look big, I’m just going to put black on.’ This is fine, but think about adding some color with tights, a scarf, a nice cardigan. That will make you feel a lot more fashion-forward and glow a little bit more.”
Layering is also a chic fall fashion statement for pregnant moms — it combines form and function! Kate layered her styles with chic blazers and swing coats, which always gave her looks a flair of sophistication.
“When you’re pregnant, your body temperature fluctuates quite a lot, so you can feel hot one minute and then cold,” Cecile told Metro. “So layering has a function, and it can create an interesting silhouette. You can create more asymmetrical looks with the layers, which is very flattering to the pregnant figure.”
Keep Your Pregnancy Fashions Consistent With Your Own Style
Pregnancy also isn’t the time to start radically changing around your style — after all, you’re going through plenty other changes, so your clothes should feel comfortable and natural. “Find something where you really feel the same as pre-pregnancy,” Cecile shared.
