French Canadian hottie Francois Arnaud, 28, is the latest actor, in what seems to be a revolving door of Hollywood studs, to reportedly be considered for the coveted role of Christian in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. Would he be the right choice?
Charlie Hunnam dropping out of Fifty Shades has really blown the casting possibilities wide open. And now, Francois is the newest guy on the short list, according to JustJared. He is best known for his TV role as Cesare Borgia on The Borgias, which recently wrapped its third and final season. His next project is on the big screen with Camilla Belle in Amapola.
Francois does have a bit of that dreamy yet mysterious look necessary to play Christian, so even though he’s a bit under the radar, he might be a good choice.
It looks like casting directors are still ripping their hair out trying to find the leading man for Fifty Shades of Grey, and they seem a little fickle. Casting rumors have been popping up on a daily basis — on Oct. 16, Christian Cooke was on the circuit, as was Jamie Dornan.
Matt Bomer, 36, and Ian Somerhalder, 34, have also been on the fans’ radars. We can’t complain with that list! No matter who gets the part, we’re sure he’ll steam up the silver screen with Dakota Johnson, 24, who is set to play Anastasia Steele in the movie.
Who do you think it should be, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
