After an overwhelmingly positive response to their 2013 hosting gig, Tina & Amy are returning for two more ceremonies!
Do you enjoy beauty, laughter and witty commentary? Then we’ve got good news for you! Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have officially been confirmed as co-hosts for the next two Golden Globe ceremonies, the 71st (2014) and 72nd (2015) respectively.
The news broke in the wee hours of Oct. 15, and came directly from the Golden Globe Awards‘ official Twitter account:

Amy even told the Hollywood Foreign Press that about returning, “We had a lot of fun so we said maybe we can try it again and like fools we are giving it another shot. Looking forward to understanding more of how the night goes and what works and what doesn’t. In all honesty – just setting the tone for a really fun evening. I think as a host that’s your job. Telling some jokes, getting everyone excited and then stay out of everyone’s way.”
Tina Fey & Amy Poehler Diss Taylor Swift At 2013 Golden Globes
We loved watching Tina and Amy host the Golden Globes earlier this year, not only because they were hysterical, but also because their jokes were strangely relevant to what we’re all about here at HollywoodLife.com.
Though Tina’s remark was all in good fun, it did stir up a bit of a feud between Taylor and the co-hosts. During an interview with Vanity Fair, conducted shortly after the Globes, Taylor told the magazine, “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.”
Amy later issued an apology to The Hollywood Reporter, saying, “I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”
Tina stood her ground, though, telling Entertainment Tonight, “If anyone was going to get mad at us, I thought it would be James Cameron. … I did not see that one coming. It was a joke. It was a lighthearted joke.”
We can’t wait to see who the ladies pick on in the years to come!
