Miley Cyrus Performs Acoustic Rendition Of ‘We Can’t Stop’ On ‘Ellen’
Miley is a talented singer, there’s no doubt about that. After making a grand entrance by swinging on a wrecking ball on the Oct. 11th episode of Ellen, Miley sang an acoustic version of her party hit “We Can’t Stop!”
Miley sat down and sang with only her voice and guitar — and she sounded totally amazing!
We love how Miley is truly a talented musician. She may be receiving a lot of criticism lately for her new look and dance moves, but nobody can ever attack her vocal skills.
She’s an amazing singer and we love how she toned it down for a memorable acoustic performance!
Miley Cyrus Discusses Liam Hemsworth Split On ‘Ellen’
Miley’s acoustic performance wasn’t the only moment to talk about from her Ellen appearance.
The last time Miley was on the show, Ellen threw her a “bachelorette party” — since it was right round the time she announced her engagement to Liam. Clearly, things have changed — and Miley didn’t hesitate to acknowledge it. Miley coyly asked, “Do you want your money back?” Then she quipped, “I should’ve kept one of those dude’s numbers. That would’ve come in handy now.”
That really opened up the conversation for Ellen to ask about her breakup with Liam, and if it’s been awkward for Miley or not.
“It’s not really as awkward because I’m living it. So I think people spend more time actually thinking about it then I really do,” Miley said. “I just believe when a chapter is done you have to close it and start that new one. That’s kind of where I am right now. I felt like I have so much to be thankful for at this time, that my energy hasn’t really been focused on that.”
We love how open and honest Miley is — her appearance on Ellen was definitely one for the books!
