From sexy schoolgirl to queen of the jungle, the songstress showed off two totally different costumes for her latest performance — but which look did you really love? VOTE.
Katy Perry performed on Saturday Night Live in NYC on Oct. 12, where the 28-year-old star served as the musical guest for the episode, hosted by Bruce Willis. The songstress dressed up in an animal print ensemble, made up of leopard print and leaves, that made her look like she stepped right out of the jungle while performing her hit, “Roar.” Behind her there was a live band dressed up in animal suits, including everything from tigers to monkeys to elephants — oh my! While the vines and the small dress were definitely sexy, that wasn’t the only look the star showed off.
Katy Perry’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ Performance Outfit — Which Do You Like?
Katy came back out to perform the dance track, “Walking On Air,” where she swapped her jungle outfit for her own take on sexy school girl attire. While to some this look might seem quite costume-like, Katy has been a huge fan of it and has shown it off for a slew of appearances, even if they didn’t involve performances. It’s so Clueless! The outfit consisted of white, thigh-high socks, a pleated, plaid mini skirt and a cropped white turtleneck tank top. Behind her, her backup dancers were dressed in all white.
While I’m all for a Clueless moment I was happy Katy decided to switch things up in her first look — not to mention that it was so consistent with her song, “Roar.” Do you agree? What do you think of Katy’s two outfits from her Saturday Night Live performance? Did you like her animal-print mini or her school girl get-up? VOTE.
