It’s an extremely emotional time for Lea Michele, and while the cast has looked at her as a rock on the ‘Glee’ set, we’ve now learned that she may not watch the tribute episode on Oct. 10 as it will just be too heartbreaking.
Lea Michele has got to be one of the strongest women in Hollywood. After her boyfriend and co-star, Cory Monteith‘s tragic death, she worked hard to keep her Glee cast-mates strong, and we can’t even imagine how difficult it was for her to film the emotional tribute episode. However, HollywoodLife.com has now learned exclusively that watching the episode may just be too hard for her to watch.
‘Glee’ Tribute: Lea Michele Will Most Likely Not Watch Cory Monteith Episode
While much of the cast may watch “The Quarterback” together, it’s completely understandable if Lea can’t.
“Lea most likely is going to skip watching the tribute episode as she will be way too emotional,” a source close to her told us. “She feels that she lived it and doesn’t need to continue to open the wounds of her heart by watching it.”
Lea is extremely “proud” of the episode, but is understandably “extremely sad thinking about it.”
In the episode, she will sing an extremely sad and slow version of “Make You Feel My Love,” a clip we heard a piece of in the promo.
Cory Monteith’s Tribute Episode Was ‘Brutal’ For Lea
“I know it’s just been brutal for her,” she told the mag. “I never lost a boyfriend when I was 26 years old. I can’t tell her what her experience is. She’s a champion, and she is a rock star, and she is getting through this.”
She absolutely is a rock star! She’s even been helping others on set to get through it.
“Lea has been amazing,” a source close to her revealed to HollywoodLife.com. “She is definitely very sad, but has gotten so much better and has really been strong. The whole crew and cast are now a family and Lea is leading us all back to a normal set life.”
