Santana Finally Meets New Love In NYC

While Rachel nervously awaited a final decision about “Funny Girl,” Santana (Naya Rivera) appeared to finally be moving on from Brittany (Heather Morris) — after booking her first commercial for a yeast infection cream.

We were finally introduced to new waitress, Dani (Demi Lovato) who Santana is immediately drawn to.

Dani revealed that her parents didn’t accept her as a lesbian, and she took her guitar and left when they found out. This lead Santana to explain that she’s over Brittany and that it’s definitely over.

Of course, I’m a huge fan of this, especially after their amazing rendition of “Here Comes the Sun” — which is when Dani shows Santata how gorgeous the sunrise is.

After their duet Santana walks Dani home, and it’s sealed with a kiss!

And Dani’s not the only new addition to the diner — Kurt (Chris Colfer) gets a job there too, since you know, Vogue.com doesn’t pay! The best part of the diner scenes? Rachel makes a “I feel like I’m on Smash season one” comment. Kurt, Rachel and Santana made a pact that the three of them will stay in NY for at least two years!

At the end of the episode, Rachel gets a surprise when the casting director from “Funny Girl” — played by Peter Facinelli — came to the diner. He ordered a cake from her, before asking her to write “Congratulations Rachel Berry!”

Yes, she got the part of Fanny Brice in the Broadway show, “Funny Girl!” We’re so excited!

McKinley High School’s Prom Meets ‘Carrie’

When it comes to prom season at McKinley High, it’s all a competition!

Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) took Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison)’s lesson about being fearless to heart when she was nominated for prom court with the support of Kitty (Becca Tobin). The Cheerios aren’t at all supportive of her or Tina, since they want to take the crown. The cheerleaders even put up fliers, trying to pin Kitty was against Tina — when she was really behind her all along!

You may remember in episode one when she chose Sam (Chord Overstreet) to be her prom date. However, she changed her mind, causing him to lose his confidence charm . . . that was, until a new college-aged Nurse Penny (Phoebe Strole) grabbed his attention.

While he’s shy at first, constantly faking how sick he was to get her attention, he eventually talked her into a dance at prom!

So, when Prom night finally came, we were SO happy to see Tina take home the prom queen crown! And, while Blaine (Darren Criss) and Artie (Kevin McHale) also ran for prom court, we’re shocked with the winner is Stoner Brett (Ryan Heinke)!

Glee Club Rescues Tina

However, that happy moment was short winded after an evil Cheerio decides to use a Carrie-influenced prank of Tina — spilling a huge bucket of red slushy on her after winning.

It was heart-wrenching, but all the glee club had her back — all the girls even offered up their dresses so she could wipe her tears and return to the dance floor.

At the end, Kitty showed her true colors — and gave Tina her dress! She cleaned herself up with the help of the glee club, during a rendition of “Hey Jude,” and Kitty put on a plain white tee and jeans — it was adorable!

However, Coach Sylvester (Jane Lynch) promoted Bree (Erinn Westbrook), who was responsible for the whole slushy prank — to head cheerleader! She told her she wants her to torment the Glee club! We know that’s going to cause some drama!

So HollywoodLifers, are you happy for Rachel because she got the part? Are you a fan of Dantana? Let us know!
