Clips from Miley’s entire ‘Bangerz’ album have finally been released — and it sounds like Liam was her main inspiration! Listen to the previews below!
We’re just days away from the release date of Miley Cyrus‘ Bangerz album, but one thing is already clear: it’s going to be packed with songs about her ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth. Many tunes on the album — which officially drops on Oct. 8 — are clearly about the man who is no longer in her life.
Snippets Of Miley Cyrus’ ‘Bangerz’ Album Released — Songs About Liam Hemsworth?
Miley must have been feeling heartbroken throughout recording songs for Bangerz, long before she split with Liam, because the album is full of love songs, presumably about her former man. The snippets released on AllMusic include 30-second teases of each tune. Here’s all the Liam heartbreak, among many other things, that you can expect to hear when you press play on Bangerz:
1. “SMS (Bangerz)”
Miley partnered with Britney Spears in this song — and it’s likely to be a hit at the club with its catchy tune. However, the lyrics are questionably about her tumultuous relationship with Liam. “One day he wants me/ One day he wants me/ And I don’t do chances,” Miley sings.
2. “My Darlin”
The title of this song speaks for itself. In this song Miley sings, “I walked through a pool of water and saw a shadow of a broken-hearted girl.”
This song is a slow and emotional jam. It definitely sounds like Miley is singing from the bottom of her heart when she belts out: “You told me you wanted this/ I told you it was all yours.”
Once again this title speaks for itself — and this one definitely is a revenge song. Clearly this is about Liam as she sings lyrics like, “Now I’m crying, crying… Thought I found love that was going to last… You might as well tell the honest truth.” This song also features French Montana.
5. “Do My Thang”
Perhaps this one is Miley talking about living the single life? “Don’t you worry about me I’m going to be OK I’m going to do my thang.” You go, Miley!
6. “Maybe You’re Right?”
Probably the most emotional song on her album next to “Wrecking Ball.” In this one Miley sings: “Second you told me you love me started questioning us. Are we really in love?” So sad.
7. “Someone Else”
Another tear-jerker, Miley sings: “Do you really believe love conquers all? Because that’s what I see in the movies. Come to find out it’s not like that all.”
8. “Rooting For My Baby”
This is a happy one about Liam. It sounds like she wrote this one when Liam’s fame was sky-rocketing due to the Hunger Games.
9. “Hands in the Air”
And in the final song of her album, Miley sings about being lonely and finally finding someone to make her feel better.
Liam clearly holds a special place in her heart — we wonder what Liam will think about all these songs?
