Just one day before ‘Breaking Bad’ ends forever on Sept. 29, Aaron brought his iconic character Jesse Pinkman to ‘Saturday Night Live,’ and the results were amazing and hilarious. Watch below!
Breaking Bad fans may be completely depressed by [Spoiler alert!] how bad Jesse Pinkman’s life has gotten on the show, but they were given the chance to laugh at the character one more time when Aaron Paul dropped in on several sketches during the season premiere of Saturday Night Live on Sept. 28.
Aaron Paul Brings ‘Breaking Bad’ To ‘SNL’
Aaron (basically Jesse) first popped up during the cold open, a skit about where President Obama (played by Jay Pharoah) tried to explain Obamacare. When he failed to do so, Jesse grabbed the mic and explained how free health care would have prevented his friend (cough — Walter White — cough) from having to go into the drug business. Good point, Jesse!
Aaron Paul On ‘SNL': A Big Night For Jesse Pinkman
Jesse made his second cameo of the night in a commercial parody of electronic cigarettes. He showed up at the end of the commercial — which was for an electronic meth pipe — to put his stamp of approval on the product: “You know it’s good ’cause it’s blue, b**ch!”
And finally, Aaron made an appearance during “Weekend Update” as the classic character Drunk Uncle’s addict relative, Meth Nephew. Something about seeing Aaron all keyed up singing Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” with Drunk Uncle just tickles us.
Things might not be looking good for Jesse on Breaking Bad, so it’s nice that we got a little positive send-off for the character on Saturday Night Live. Watch the funny skit below and tell us what you think!
