Kaylee DeFer gave birth to a baby boy named Theodore Ignatius Fitzpatrick on Sept. 20. This is the first child for Kaylee, 26, and Fitz and the Tantrums frontman Michael Fitzpatrick, 43.
Theodore Ignatius Fitzpatrick was born on Sept. 20 at 10:14 p.m. He weighed in at 8 pounds and 13 ounces.
“We had a girl name, and when we found out it was probably a boy, for some reason we felt like we needed to meet him,” Kaylee told Us Weekly of the name choice.
The little guy’s full name is quite a mouthful — say “Theodore Ignatius Fitzpatrick” three times fast! — but the little guy has already been dubbed “Baby Fitz.” Too cute for words!
Michael’s band missed one of their scheduled shows when Kaylee went into labor on Sept. 19. They posted this message to their Facebook:
Hey, San Diego, unfortunately we will not be playing at 91x fest today because FORTUNATELY there is a baby Fitz coming! Thank you so much for understanding. We hope to make it up to you all soon!
There were no hard feelings about the missed show from Fitz and the Tantrums, who tweeted their excitement about Baby Fitz’s arrival:
Congratulations to our partner in crime Fitz and our beautiful friend Kaylee on the birth of their beautiful son!!
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Do you like the name Theodore Ignatius Fitzpatrick?
