Prince George Meets Prince Philip, Great-Grandpa, In Scotland
The royal family flew out to Scotland early on Sept. 15, Us Weekly confirmed. The purpose of the young parents’ trip was to introduce their son to his great-grandpa!
Queen Elizabeth II met Prince George just one day after his birth in July — but her husband, Prince Philip, had yet to meet his youngest heir! The Queen and Philip have been vacationing in Balmoral since the end of July — an annual visit that the family makes.
Philip has also been recovering from an operation that he had in June 2013, and his health has prevented him from traveling extensively.
