Romantic, flirty, and feminine were three words to describe the amazing Spring Summer 2014 J. Mendel fashion show. With celeb fans like Taylor Swift, we’re sure to see these designs on an upcoming red carpet!
With gorgeous floral patterns, exposed seams and cut outs in all the right places, J. Mendel wowed the crowd, which included celebrities like Molly Sims and Brad Goreski in the front row. See more of our favorite designs below!
J. Mendel Spring 2014 — Fashion Week Favorite
Set to what sounded like tribal drum music with French lyrics, the show stared with pastels — pink, white, and yellow dresses, and seamlessly transitioned into amazing metallics. The feminine silhouettes showed off the models body flawlessly and tastefully.
Amy Adams, Selena Gomez and Olivia Wilde have all been spotted on the red carpet wearing J. Mendel gowns and it’s easy to see why!
He transitions from sporty to girly almost effortlessly — and all of the looks were wearable and pretty. On his spring runway, he introduced fur vests, lace shorts and lots of pockets!
I think his metallic looks would be especially pretty on Taylor Swift, who loves to sparkle on the red carpet.
Another look — a short-sleeved brocade dress with a wrap skirt overlay would look especially cool on Kristen Stewart.
Although the separates were amazing, I’m partial to the gowns we all know and expect from this designer. My favorite piece in the collection was a neon orange gown with a floral brocade pattern and hot pink seams. The plunging neckline and slightly sheer fabric gives the dress an extra sexy look.
It was such a show stopper on the runway!
