The Badgley Mischka Spring 2014 collection was simply gorgeous. From a variety of silhouettes to a slew of pretty hues, it’s only a matter of time before these dresses go from the runway to the red carpet — and we think the brand’s celeb fans will be obsessed with the latest collection!
Badgley Mischka debuted their Spring 2014 collection at Lincoln Center during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on Sept. 10, where designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka sent one of their best collections ever down the runway. There was a vintage, Parisian chic vibe throughout the looks and the show started off with effortless separates that were perfectly polished. While they may be known for their ability to create a glam gown, their separates and more casual looks were just as covetable for Spring 2014. From the beaded fringe to the palazzo pants, the collection was reminiscent of the glamour of the roaring ’20s.
Badgley Mischka Spring 2014 Collection:
After the stylish separates a sea of their signature evening wear emerged on the runway. From plunging necklines to one-shoulder gowns, we saw a variety of silhouettes in an array of shades which included pretty pinks, commanding reds, whites, corals, and midnight blues. While the exquisite beadwork and techniques varied, each and every gown possessed the same effortless glamour and airy elegance — it was simply perfection. The flapper days came alive thanks to the use of beaded fringe while illusion necklines made the frocks look as if they were the model’s second skin.
Sure, the brand already has a slew of famous fans that love to rock their dresses on the red carpet, but we’re sure after they get a glimpse at their latest collection even more stylish stars will want to wear a look from the ethereal line. In fact, because I could see so many different stars wearing the collection it was hard to settle on just a couple of names! While a baby blue, ruffled gown would be great for Anna Kendrick I think a lilac, plunging number would be ideal for Taylor Swift. Christina Hendricks has shown off the brand on the red carpet on more than one occasion and one of the casual dresses really seemed to embody her classic yet sexy sense of style.
