Margherita Missoni’s Baby Born — Fashion Heiress & Husband Welcome Baby Boy
Otto was reportedly ten days overdue, so his anxious parents-to-be documented their stressful wait via their Twitter and Instagram pages! The couple posted a pic of Margherita’s swelling belly on Sept. 1 with the caption:
Trying to persuade #ottohermann to come out #waitingforotto.
It wasn’t until almost a week later that their little boy made his fashionably late appearance! Of course, when Otto was born, he had to be celebrated in true Missoni style — with an adorable sweater! The couple posted a pic of a tiny blue sweater with the name “Otto” knitted in it with the relieving caption “Hello! Finally #ottohermann!”
Otto’s name is a nice tribute to his famous great-grandpa — and also the word for “eight” in Italian.
Margherita Missoni Prepared Designer Nursery For Baby Otto
With a fashionable family like the Missonis, it’s no surprise that Otto’s nursery is already decked out. Throughout the course of her pregnancy, Margherita shared Instagram snaps of her baby’s blue-themed nursery, which features Italian knit linens, delicately embroidered pillows, and stylish wicker furniture. Shockingly, there was no signature chevron in sight!
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Do you think the name Otto is a cute tribute?
