Eminem‘s fans are going berzerk over his new song! Em takes us way back in his latest video, rapping in front of a huge boom box and making subtle references to the 1992 Beastie Boys “So What Cha Want” video by donning a beanie and a Pistons T-shirt. Talk about old school!
After a teaser for Em’s new video aired at halftime during the Notre Dame-Michigan game on Sept. 7, we couldn’t wait to see the full version! The awesome video is finally here and it doesn’t disappoint, with cameos from Kendrick Lamar, Kid Rock, Rick Ruben, and Slaughterhouse members Joe Budden and Royce da 5’9.” The throwback video also features a VHS blue screen — which we haven’t even thought about in years — and is intercut with some crazy footage of people fighting.
Eminem, 40, totally captured the heart of old school hip-hop in his new song and video. Shady is back and better than ever!
Eminem surprised his fans when he announced that his new album, Marshall Mathers LP 2 , will drop on Nov. 5. “Berzerk,” the album’s lead single, is a huge blow to Khloe Kardashian, who’s referenced as the “ugly Kardashian” in the controversial lyrics.
It’s no secret that Khloe, 29, and Lamar Odom, 33, are going through a difficult time right now with their reported separation and Lamar’s alleged drug problem, so Eminem’s lyrics about them probably won’t help the situation:
All I know is I fell asleep and woke up in that Monte Carlo
With the ugly Kardashian
Lamar, oh sorry yo, we done both set the bar low
Bars hard, drugs hard thought that’s the past
Eminem also slams Britney Spears‘ ex, Kevin Federline, saying, “So baby make just like K-Fed and let yourself go, let yourself go.” Ouch!
The new album is a 13-year follow up to 2000′s Marshall Mathers LP. It looks like the real Slim Shady is finally back!
