As people everywhere hold out for a Kristen Stewart–Robert Pattinson reunion, it appears to actually be headed the other way! Now instead of Rob moving (back) into Kristen’s Los Feliz, Calif. home, it’s reportedly her Camp X-Ray co-star Lane Garrison, 33, who’s shacking up at K-Stew’s!
Kristen, 23, and Lane’s friendship has been developing on the set of Camp X-Ray, and K-Stew recently extended an invitation for him to move in with her, a source told omg!
Lane doesn’t live in Los Angeles, so K-Stew reportedly urged him to leave the hotel he was staying at in favor of the guest wing of her house. However, while this does just seem like a friendly thing to do, the source says it’s an indication that Kristen and Lane are getting romantic.
Which is reportedly a problem for Kristen’s family, who are concerned by Lane’s dangerous past. The actor spent three years in jail for vehicular manslaughter in 2007 after a drunk-driving incident that left a 17-year-old dead. And in April 2012, Lane was arrested for misdemeanor battery for allegedly slapping then girlfriend, Ashley Mattingly, across the face.
“Kristen’s big brother, Cameron, has told her he’s concerned about the new relationship, especially since his recent arrest after his jail term,” the source told omg!.
But a little familial concern reportedly isn’t enough to make Kristen give up on the first guy she’s gotten close to since splitting up with Rob in May. “Kristen is trying to pull her life together and she’s been leaning on Lane since they started filming together,” the source said. “She understands his violent past but trusts that he’s changed and is really enjoying getting to know him.”
So what do you think, HollywoodLifers? Is Kristen letting Lane move into her house a sign that they’re headed for love, or was she just being friendly? Let us know!
