Now that SummerSlam has ended with Randy Orton cashing in his Money in the Bank contract, the landscape of the WWE has changed forever — and that is exactly the kick of adrenaline the entertainment company needed for its future!

Many people were upset when Daniel Bryan lost the WWE title to Randy Orton at SummerSlam on August 18, but the WWE is headed in a new direction, and I think Randy is the perfect champion for the future of WWE programming. Let me tell you why!

Randy Orton: WWE Champion After SummerSlam Victory

WWE’s SummerSlam PPV, which culminated on August 18 at LA’s Staples Center, will go down in WWE history as the night that changed everything! When WWE superstar Randy cashed in his Money in the Bank contract with the help of special guest referee Triple H, it sent the WWE Universe and all of its fans into a complete tailspin.

This is exactly what the WWE wanted because now everyone will tune into their flagship show Monday Night Raw to see what happens next. It’s pretty simple — you always have to leave the fans wanting more, wanting revenge. And that is exactly what happened!

Randy Orton Predicts The Future

We should have seen this coming! During the SummerSlam “Superstars For Hope” event at the Beverly Hills Hotel on August 15, HollywoodLife.com spoke to Randy EXCLUSIVELY about his career and what he had planned for the show.

It’s been a couple years and I have been laying low and I think it’s about that time. There have been some personal things going on, there have been things at work going on, but they all have come to a head and life is simplifying itself right now so I can concentrate more at work. The last two or three months I have had some really good matches with Christian, RVD and Daniel Bryan and I am looking forward to more of that. And here we are at SummerSlam, the biggest PPV and I don’t have a match. I got to find something to do, right?

And he certainly did! Randy added, “I hope that match is last, I am crossing my fingers it is, I would love to go off the air with me holding the title up high. That would be awesome!”

And for those Daniel Bryan fans who are still upset, look what happened to his career when he was beaten by Sheamus in 18 seconds at WrestleMania 28 — that defeat sparked Daniel’s meteoric rise and the awesome “Yes!” chants that fill stadiums throughout the world. Daniel’s loss to Randy will no doubt lead to amazing matches and a chance for him to redeem himself to his fans.

We now have new matches, new opportunities and new main events. You can’t deny it, it is exactly what was needed, and I want everyone to look back at this past SummerSlam as the start of a brand new world for the WWE! Enjoy the ride — I sure will!

So HollywoodLifers, do YOU think Randy Orton winning the WWE title is good for the WWE? Sound off below!

Randy Orton has done alot before becoming current wwe champ….! He dominated superstars including Triple H,John Cena,Brock lesnar,Batista,RVD,Christian in the past few years and months even Daniel Bryan who tried very hard to beat Orton and aparently succeeded…..that just state that Orton is the biggest wrestler we have in thé wwe….

Its easy for someone who don’t watch to say something like this, but Orton is several years past his prime and a burnout. He doesn’t fight matches as well as used to and he cuts awful promos. He has two strikes against him in the wellness program. One more and he’s be fired. Daniel Bryan and CM Punk are the best two wrestlers. Bryan deserved that title and Creative stuck it to him. I’m not watching a promotion that has Randy Boreton at the front of it.
