Lea Michele wants to know what was going on in Cory Monteith’s mind and life during the days leading up to that fatal night, July 13. A new report claims that The Glee actress wants Cory’s Vancouver buddies to come forward and shed light on those last days.
“Lea is trying to talk to the people who last saw him. She wants to know what happened, she wants to understand,” a source tells Us Weekly.
It’s a natural and very understandable urge for Lea to need to know why. And though learning about Cory’s final days may hurt like crazy, if it’s what Lea feels she needs to do to move on, then it’s good she is taking the initiative.
But addiction specialist Steven Orenstein, LMFT, who runs the Neurodevelopmental Learning Institute in Los Angeles, tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, “It’s very important that Lea learns how to not blame herself for the tragic loss of Cory.”
“She may be questioning herself and saying ‘If only I didn’t let Cory go to Vancouver’, ‘If only I went to Vancouver with Cory’. There is nothing Lea could have done to prevent Cory’s unfortunate death, and she needs to fully understand this. She also needs to go to individual therapy for her grief and loss issues.”
What do YOU think HollywoodLifers, should Cory’s party buddies come forward and speak to Lea?
We continue to send our prayers and thoughts to Lea and Cory’s family.
