The residents of Chester’s Mill express joy during ‘visitor’s day’ at the dome, until they realize it’s really a chance to say goodbye, as the military plans to annihilate all of them with a gigantic missile.
During visitor’s day on the July 22 episode of Under The Dome, Barbie (Mike Vogel) learns that the military is clearing out and will try launching a MOAB (mother of all bombs, the biggest non-nuclear bomb they have) in order to eliminate the dome, even if that means killing everyone inside.

Fortunately, the bomb doesn’t work. However, before everyone starts shaking in their boots and aggressively promoting Microsoft products, Julia (Rachelle Lefevre) receives a letter from Peter’s sister. It apparently tells her she can do better than him.
Meanwhile, Big Jim finally lets Angie go and then kills Reverend Looney Tunes to keep him from running his mouth about the meth. (Can I ask — how did Dean Norris land himself a role on two hit television series about meth?)
Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz) runs into her biological dad, whom she had no idea about, during visitor’s day at the dome. She gets emotional, runs off into the woods, and later shares a kiss with Joe (Colin Ford). Thankfully, they don’t faint and gesture me to shush this time around, because that was super creepy!
When Angie runs home to find her brother, she runs into Junior (Alexander Koch), who’s waiting in her room with a gun. (So much for being “free.”) She ends up comforting him, solely because she thinks it’s going to be their last moment on Earth (right before the missile hits). At the very least, Junior is hot — so there’s that.
What did YOU think of the new episode of UTD? Was it everything you’d hoped it’d be? And am I the only one who hopes Linda’s (Natalie Martinez) fiance gets shirtless at some point? Shoot me your thoughts with a comment below!
