Kristen, 23, and Robert, 27, broke up in May 2013 after years of dating on and off. And while Kristen is keeping a brave face following the split, she is not ready to move on just yet.

A source close to the Twilight actress EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com:

She was super-depressed after the split, but now she has been getting out of the house to cope with the pain — and it’s definitely helped. She’s looking toward the future. She’s mentioned dating other guys, but it’s definitely seemed to be something for the future, as she’s not a person who sleeps around or has rebounds. She’s very romantic and wants to make sure.

Kristen is definitely making the right choice. She needs some time to heal following the break up, and dating someone on the rebound would be a terrible idea.

Kristen Stewart Goes On Post Break Up Road Trip

Instead of weeping about Rob, Kristen and two friends have headed down south for a road trip! They have hit up a Hooters restaurant in Amarillo, Texas on June 15 and Kristen was seen posing with a fan at Blues City Cafe in Memphis, Tennessee on June 16.

Kristen had a traditional southern dinner with a group of friends, before heading to the Memphis’ Coyote Ugly Saloon.

“She walked in [to the bar] with friends around 1 a.m.,” an onlooker revealed. “It was a slow night and we were about to close when they came in.”

Kristen drank a beer, took a shot of Jack Daniel’s whiskey and played pool at the saloon, and she also took a pic with the staff on top of the bar!

“She was on the patio at one point and then said, ‘Oh hi, I’m Kristen,’ introducing herself,” the source said. “She was very nice…She was so cool. Really down to earth.”

It looks like Kristen is really working hard to get over Rob!
