‘The Voice’ winner made her breakout awards show performance during the 2013 CMT Awards, and wowed the crowd with her new single ‘Wasting All These Tears!’
Cassadee Pope stole the show on The Voice on June 4, and made a triumphant return to TV just a day later at the 2013 CMT Music Awards to perform her iTunes chart-topping hit single. The talented 23-year-old sang “Wasting All These Tears” during the first 15 minutes of the awards show, and showed off her flawless vocals!
Cassadee Pope’s CMT Awards Performance Of ‘Wasting All These Tears’
Cassadee took the stage in a sexy sparkly dress, and delivered her hit song with such grace and emotion, it’s no wonder she was the season three winner of The Voice! The former “Hey Monday” frontwoman looked gorgeous in her gown, and showed off a pretty beauty look with her two-toned hair in waves down her shoulders, and her signature smokey eye.
Even though it was Cassadee’s first awards show performance — and it was only for a couple minutes before the show was carried into a commercial break — her talent proved that it won’t be the last time we’ll see the singer perform during a major awards show!
Cassadee Pope Returns To ‘The Voice’
The night before the CMT Music Awards, Cassadee returned to the television program that put her on the map — The Voice. As a member of Blake Shelton‘s team, the 23-year-old was crowned the overall winner — and she came back to perform “Wasting All These Tears.”
Unlike the CMT Awards, Cassadee was able to sing the entire song before a commercial break, and she definitely made her former coach proud!
