The Wanted & One Direction Fight — Boy Band Boxing Match On The Horizon – Hollywood Life

The Wanted Challenge One Direction To A Fight

It's no surprise the boy band feud has come to this. Max and Jay from The Wanted have spoken out saying they want to settle things with 1D once and for all. Only one question remains -- who would win if this actually happened? After some fierce rounds of Twitter feuding and even a shocking stab at Louis Tomlinson's sexuality, The Wanted is ready to settle the score like men. Max George and Jay McGuinness from the band challenged their archenemies One Direction to an all-out brawl in a new interview.

Max George: We Want A Boxing Match With One Direction

“We would like a boxing match — them against us,” Max told the Daily News. “It would be brilliant for TV and I don’t have a problem with it at all.”

The Wanted boys say they’d like to set up a fight with 1D to raise money for charity — but probably more to release some anger. “They’ve got 12 million followers on Twitter and I get that they have an army of kids,” George says. “But instead of doing that if they have got an issue, why don’t we actually do something financially — like make some money for a charity, and blow off some steam in a boxing ring.”

The Wanted — such tough boy band guys.

The Wanted Vs. One Direction: A Boy Band Rivalry

The feud between The Wanted and One Direction has been well-documented. Louis from 1D had one of the most epic Twitter battles ever with Tom Parker that was so big even Zayn Malik and Jay had to get involved.

And Max has run his mouth encouraging violence before — he has previously told reporters that he’d risk arrest to fight the members of One Direction. And just three days ago on May 30, he somewhat derisively called Louis gay on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.

The Wanted and 1D will never ever be friends, says Jay: “It’s going to be really hard to ever have a real friendship and we don’t see them enough for that — we’re not going to lose any sleep over it.”

As of now, the boys of One Direction are taking the high road and ignoring Max’s challenge. This fight would probably never happen, but let’s say it did, just for fun — who would you bet on? Let us know, HollywoodLifers!
