Kristen Stewart Was ‘Too Dependent’ On Robert Pattinson
Kristen was becoming way too reliant on Rob, a source close to the couple tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Through the years, Kristen definitely became too dependent on Rob saving the day and taking her back,” the source says. He had to constantly feel “in charge” of Kristen, the source explains, and eventually it just became too tiring.

The source continues, saying that Kristen and Rob are also just at different points in their lives. Kristen “is too concerned about being an LA hipster and he’s preoccupied with working these days.” Back in mid-April HollywoodLife.com reported EXCLUSIVELY that Kristen “made a vow that her relationship with Rob will always come first.” That move seems to have caused more problems than it solved.

Rob’s ready to focus on his career and take it to the next level; Kristen’s priorities obviously don’t line up with that. Their four-year age difference likely has a lot to do with that, the source reveals. “He felt like an adult taking care of a child” at times, the source says. Now that they’re broken up, “he’s glad to only have to be in charge of himself… He thinks she has a lot of growing up to do.”
These issues Rob has clearly extend much further and go way deeper than simple jealousy and anger towards Rupert Sanders. They’re fundamental differences, and if Rob and Kristen are ever going to reunite, they’ll have to work very hard to find middle ground.
