The star has landed a brand new gig, as the face of the brand’s fall campaign! Do you think she’s a good fit for the role?
Nicole Kidman isn’t any stranger to fronting a campaign, but now she’s adding a new job to her resume! The 45-year-old actress will appear in Jimmy Choo ads, photographed by Mikael Jansson, for the fall collection. The star has said she always adored fashion, “and often use it as a way to get into character.” While she usually takes part in elegant and classy ads, (like her Chanel No. 5 campaign), we’re interested in seeing how the star fits into the typically risqué shoots from the shoe brand — but we’re certainly not complaining!

So, why Nicole Kidman? The brand stated the campaign has a “cinematic feel that hints at the power and seduction of the Jimmy Choo woman.” We all know Nicole has all of these characteristics! Sandra Choi, head creative director of Jimmy Choo, asserts this by saying, “Nicole is one of the finest actresses in the world. I knew [she] could convey the empowered glamour of the brand. But she is also so nuanced and refined; she brings an attitude of defiance, strength, sensuality and elegance,” she tells WWD.
But that’s not all, big things are happening for Nicole! The star will be a part of the eight-person jury at the Cannes Film Festival which will take place from May 15 to 26. The jury is in charge of giving out prizes, especially the most coveted award, the Palme d’Or award. What better person to put on the jury then the extremely talented actress herself?
